At work recently we were humouring ourselves in about the topic of our favourite style icons and were justifying each star’s style status. It’s a clichéd topic I realise, but I’m always curious to find out why certain personalities are influential....

I recently went to Splendour in the Grass in Byron Bay and was absolutely blown away by this festival – one of the best experiences I have had. The music was incredible, my favourites were Sigur Ros and The Polyphonic Spree whose performances were outstanding .The people were equally as colourful, as Splendour draws a crowd of about 170,00 from around Australia and I have some very random memories from the trip.......

Today I just wanted to let you in on what has been going on. As work is getting really busy in the lead up to the new seasons designs, it’s really important to stay energised and keep a clear head, because it can be easy get distracted....

Its Belinda here, just writing to give you a peak into my life and fill you in on a bit of fashion goss. I work full time as an assistant designer so being creative, drawing and having to be constantly inspired can be tiring at times. I have a few favourite things to do that inspire me, and keeps my work fresh, so I’ll give you the down low on a few of them....
