Balance is definitely a word that I am familiar with. Whilst I will be the first to say that I am not an overly organised person I do manage to juggle all my commitments and most of the time I stay sane!! I guess I have been doing it for a number of years now, balancing training, working, socialising and resting; so I have become quite accustomed to it....

Is it just me or does it seem the older we get the busier we are? There seems to be a lot more responsibility each year that ticks over. I know that PDAs and Blackberries have been all the rage but there's one thing I can never ever give to technology, and that's my diary....

When people ask me what my hobby is, or when I get to that particular section of my CV, I always feel a little under-accomplished. I don’t really have a hobby. I think it’s because my work is so creatively exhausting, not to mention all-consuming, that my down-time is usually about doing nothing....
