I'm Belinda Jurd, a 22year old Sydneysider; my job is an Assistant Fashion Designer/Product Developer for Apparel Group, in the Private Label division.

I basically design ranges for a large Australian fashion retailer and help manage parts of the collection’s manufacturing. I landed this job after three years studying Fashion Design at The Fashion Design Studio, Sydney Institute of TAFE NSW (formerly known as East Sydney).

Anything to do with art, design or geography makes me tick, from research and reading to actually creating something. Having a wild night out is also important to me and going to unconventional places.

Removing yourself from people and routine for a day normally refreshes my spirit, but on the other extreme being at a gig hearing good music can also be quite inspirational. Anything Avant Garde has always been motivating to me.
